Hi all I'm curious to find out if anyone has a good source for inlay material (especially curved strips for the body and not the soundhole) in Canada? It seems like LMI won't ship shell material to Canada Thanks |

I know you are asking in Canada but the best place I have found is Australian Pearl Company. |

Hi Phil, There are export restrictions on shell products coming out of the US, so you will find that none of the US suppliers will ship shell products to Canada. The guys others have mentioned are good sources. I regularly use Andy DePaule and I've heard a lot of people recommend the Australian Pearl Company. There are some places where you can buy a limited selection of shell within Canada, but these places are likely buying from one of the 2 sources already mentioned and are reselling the shell at very high prices. Much cheaper to buy direct. Josh |

I second Australian Mother of Pearl Co. Long delay in shipping (Takes about a month. It seems Australian mail is as slow as Canadian mail) but good company |
