Hello out there, so basically my friend was doing an acrylic fretboard with led insides, but the problem is that cracks start showing on the wood and then breaks into pieces when removing it. Does someone have a solution for that? |

Was the fretboard an oily wood? |

I'm guessing the wedging action is causing the problem. If this is the case, a wider slot or filing the tang studs thinner, should work. Then CA or epoxy the fret in. Brent |
