Anyone inlay or dot the 19th fret?
I know it's not important really but drilled mine by accident (lost concentration) so gotta put one in now
Had a quick look at Google pics and couldn't see any acoustics with it..just me ?

Yup... both dot (on the neck edge) and inlay on the fret. However these are acoustic archtops. |

What sense would it make to leave it out? Those high frets are the hardest to keep track of without markers. Even better to give it a special marker matching the 7th fret to emphasize the repeating octave pattern, and differentiate it from the 15 and 17 markers to make it even less cluttered looking up there. |

Good points there .. when you start looking at a lot of production models they don't do it for some reason ..but I guess we're not building production stuff

You could make it a more elaborate inlay as some makers did (Harwood comes to mind) if you think the dot looks odd being that close to the end of the board.. |
