1986 000-45 custom in for binding repairs on fingerboard headstock and waist ,he's selling this and i'm very very tempted no dings and not a lot of playwear. Only 0.80 saddle left,action is 0.1 at 12 fret 6thstring and 0.70 1st string, straight edge just under bridge so a bit borderline.Would be interested if anyone had an opinion on value.All the best Roby. That should be 0.080 saddle and 0.070 at 12 fret first string. |

The 2016 Vintage Guitar price guide says a 1980-89 Martin 000-45 in Excellent condition is $4,900 US dollars (3,373 British pounds) to $6,100 US dollars (4,199 British pounds). Those are full retail music store prices and you also have to account for condition, regional price differences, how desperate the seller is, etc. Good Luck! |

Just a friendly reminder that if the owner is the original purchaser of the instrument warranty coverage would cover the loose binding, neck reset, etc. if you are an authorized Martin repair center. If not and again if this is the original purchaser taking it to an authorized service center will save the original purchaser a bunch.... of money. Martin is a superb company when it comes to customer service and many other things too IMO and IME. |

Thanks Hesh the owner is a friend of mine and is the original purchaser so i fixed the binding free of charge as i said he wants to sell it and wants 4500 pounds which is 6500 US which i think may be over valueing, any thoughts? |
