I do quite a bit of business on eBay - both buying and selling. Some of it revolves around guitars, parts, and tools. Imagine my surprise last night, when at the bottom of a page of search results were 2 blocks of text with pictures proclaiming how to repair cracked guitar bodies, and how to refinish guitar bodies. Has anyone else seen this lately?

We all know the internet is a great place for bad info - especially when it pertains to luthiery. I just don't think eBay ought to be a place to find that info - bad or good. Of course - trying to influence eBay policy is a huge waste of time. I certainly hope that none of our fine OLF members contributed to this project, or had their online tutorial ripped off just so eBay could "provide" such a dubious service.

Maybe they put it there to inspire people to buy cracked up ugly guitars. It's the third party egging you on -You can do it!
