I strung this one up last week for the first time. It was kinda quiet at first but the volume has increased significantly since then. This was my first venture into using side purfling. I'm happy with how it came out. Good info and tips on the OLF helped a lot.

Adirondack spruce top
Indian rosewood back and sides
Cocobolo binding
Mahogany neck
Ebony fretboard
Brazilian rosewood bridge
Indian rosewood and cocobolo rosette

Here are some photos.

That is a beautiful guitar. I can see that much care and thought went into bring it to fruition. Well done !!!

Pretty guitar, very substantial looking bridge, I'll bet if it had thinner wings you might get some more volume.

Jay: Super job for any # of guitar, exceptional for #4. Sense of design is very good. The repeat of the headstock shape in the bridge and the repeat of the rosette in the end cap are a very nice touchs. If it sounds half as good as it looks you have a winner......!!
Congrats..!!!
Tom
Just noticed another repeat, the end of the fingerboard and the heel cap.............WOW.

Nice looking guitar. I really like the design details from the head stock, the rosette and the end graft; actually anywhere I look on the guitar.

I remember seeing one of your others here and being extremely impressed. That must have been number two or three. I think the design of this guitar is beautiful. It's not just the appointments and color choices (although those are nice), it's the proportions, fair curves, heel shape, etc. This guitar would be just as pretty in black and white as it is in color.

Thanks a lot for the positive comments, everyone. They're much appreciated.

Clinchriver - I agree about the bridge being a bit on the thick side on the wings. I plan to make those thinner in the future.

Pat - The body is my own design. The lower bout is 15" which I think puts it in OM territory.

Nice! The end graft and cutaway binding tell me you're lying about this being your first attempt at side purfling.
