It is a little early for bad humor....

Beautiful work David!
Hope you find a good home for it where it can be appreciated.

That is a very fine piece of artwork. I love it.

Is that a soft C shape to the neck or more of a D?

Thanks guys. We inherited many pounds of fret wire from a 50+ year old store when we took over their old shop space. While interesting (a lot of brass wire as well as nickel silver), it was really junk. Extremely soft, poorly shaped, bunched up and tarnished. We weren't going to use it in customer instruments, but I didn't want to just throw it in the recycling bin either.

David, did you do the artwork? It's really quite nice. You should display it in your shop. ...although, I'm sure someone would like to buy it...

Outstanding!

I've got a hunch your forearms look like Popeye's if all that twisting was done by hand. Now's the time to try out for American Ninja Warrior.

Thanks! It's more or less freehand, modeled against an L-00. Put it together over a period of about 6 months, and dread to think of how many solder joints it includes.

As to twisting, certainly not done by hand. ;) Stretch out a few 20' lengths of wire, clamp ends at one side in a vice, cinch the others in a drill chuck, lean back to pull it taught, and spin.
