I need to skinny-down some pipette tips for squeezing CA into fret slots. I know Todd Stock had a tutorial on this subject, but his input has been removed. Anyone remember how to do it? Thanks, Max |

I just pull the tip with pliers until it stretches out enough to narrow it the amount I want, and snip the end with scissors. I've done it with my fingers, as well, but better control with the pliers. Alex |

I heat mine with a lighter. Then they pull easy. |

I think the ability to cold stretch these depends on the type of plastic used. Mine, like Waddy's, just break. I usually heat them with a lighter about 1/2" from the tip until the plastic becomes clear. From there you can sketch it for a particular length or diameter depending on what your application is. |
