Hi Guys,
I have some Martin 2-way truss rods that I am going to place directly in contact with the fretboard (no wood strip spacer).
The truss rods can slide out quite easily at the heel. What can I do to stabilize them in their slot?
Thanks,
Bill

Put some glue in the channel. I use titebond.

That is the same as I . Just a small bead of tite bond, This isn't gluing in the truss rod but bedding it. Keep it simple and your be fine. Do not take the wrapper off. I keep it in the slot so the end is between the nut and 1st fret.
