Wow, you guys are fancy. I just set the angle on an Incra miter gauge, cut slightly under size on the table saw then get the precise fit with a chisel. Only takes a few minutes. Since every guitar I make is slightly different it doesn't make sense to build a jig IMO.

Agreed and can occasionally double as another work/clamping surface. The best jig for me yet though is definitely the powered fret slotting jig with my table saw. What a time saver.

I hardly use my tablesaw for anything anymore. I got a Laguna SUV which handles straight cut operations. The tablesaw now has dados as a permanent feature, which is used for lapping the x's and cutting the t rod slot. All I need to do is adjust height depending on which job is going on...
