He's from Jeromesville, Ohio. Probably in his late 70's. He has been building for over 40 yrs. He's built for Joe Maphis, Barbara Mandrell, Johnny Rodrigues and Merle Travis. Master builder. Martin builders drool over his guitars, he's that good. |

A cursory internet search would seem to reveal that he doesn't build guitars any more, and that he concentrates on banjo repair. The same search indicates that he is definitely "old school" ... |

He still builds on a very limited basis. He just recovered from triple bypass. So he's taking it slow. Love his work though. |
