it´s the 1st time i handle koa and it was so cheap that i started having doubts about it. what´s your opinion? can you tell from the photos if you think it´s the real deal?

thanks in advance,
Miguel.

Could easily be Aus. blackwood, (acacia melanoxylon, scroll down). Can be very difficult to tell apart.

Aus. blackwood works very well for guitars, so I wouldn't stress over it.

Koa or Aussie blackwood, both are great. Looks like yours has a nice medium curl. For D sized sets my guess is it's worth 120-200 here in the states. Good find.

Yep...I'd guess koa or some other acacia cousin. Simple grain but nice color
Is it for a ukulele or guitar?

Looks nicely figured from here. I'd say, "Score!"

Ausie Blackwood also works great for a flamenco.

The more I look at that wood the more I think it is in the 200+ USD price range. Great find
