I've got one set ready to bend. Anyone used it before? Any tips?

I have used it once and it went pretty well. I used a hot pipe as hot as I could get it, spritzed the sides down well and repeated the spritzing during the bend. Took the side down to around 1.8mm with the cutaway section further thinned to around 1.6mm. This was my first ever build and have made 4 more instruments since from paduak, koa, ziricote and mahogany and the limba was no more difficult than the others subsequently were (and definitely easier than the ziricote!)

Probably some of the easiest wood to bend I've used. Start the waist at 270F, as temperature rises, lower bout, then upper bout, finish the last half inch on the waist to tighten everything up. Cook for 5 mins on 300F. No spring back, as I said really easy, bit like walnut.

Bends really well. I use a hot pipe, wipe on water with a sponge as needed to ease bending and keep from scorching. Sides were about .095"
