I have this humbucker thats been sitting around and I would like to use it on an experiment guitar. I don't have a lot of knowledge about pickups. I would like to do a simple 1 hum 1 vol. I'm having trouble identifying the wires though. A red, a white and a bare wire. If someone could help me that would be great. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Mathew, I just went through this a couple of weeks ago. There are few great you tube videos that show all of this. They helped me find my problem right away. Look on the tube! Shane |

MIMF.com. has an electronics section. They might also be a resource. |

red white and bare are pretty simple .. the red is usually hot, the white is return (in this case same as ground, and the bare is also ground .... as for hooking up to a volume pot, check the web (seymour duncan's site has lots of info and wiring diagrams) |
