No clean up?
No tips on making your knees stop knocking while you are working on the frets on the extension?

There is very little clean up to be done. The thin CA glue soaks into the wood and under the frets. You still level and re-crown the frets as well as sand the board during the fretwork stage. Just be careful when working on the fretboard extension and you will not get glue on the soundboard.

Thanks for the video Robbie. I have a similar question about clean-up. When I tried using thin CA I had some discoloring and found cleaning up the excess CA really difficult, so much so I never used it again. If you do get too much in any one place what do you to clean it up?

I have never had a problem with cleanup by doing it the way I show in the video. However, if you were to get a bit happy with the glue application I suppose you could have a cleanup issue. In that case I would have a paper towel close at hand with some acetone. A quick wipe and it is as good as new.

Last time I fretted a board I had a slight bow that was reversed by clamping the fretboard to the neck during glue up. So in short I figured I wouldn't need to glue the frets as they fit pretty snugly. Is there a disadvantage to doing it this way and should I change my method to avoid fretboard bow and include gluing instead?

I understand the desire to avoid building pressure into builds but I'm not worried about this fretboard coming up off the neck. Maybe 4-5 lbs of pressure to flatten it before clamping.
