Jig cut out on my small cnc, then inlay cut out with proper offset for purfling, fits like a glove..

what is that router bit arrangement? The picture is kind of dark so I can't quite make it out but it looks like a sleeve around a spiral bit? The graft looks great btw!

Nevermind, I see it's just a router guide. I thought it was something attached to the bit itself...

the trimmer has a 1/4 inch downcut bit in a 3'8 inch guide bushing...

Its a 6040 chinese cnc machine, bought off of ebay, has a cutting area of + o- 16 inches on the x axis and 24 on the y axis

no that one I got from woodhaven, I was going to make a base but I don't have any 1/4 inch acrylic, here is a binding attachment I made with 1/2 inch acrylic..
uses are endless ...

Looks great Wes! How hard do you think the learning curve would be for programming for a non savy computer operator, like myself?

its not all that difficult, there is definitely a learning curve, that said I am not into the 3d stuff yet but I am working on that, its all in the software and a real good source of info is our own OLF forum in the cnc section...

binding and purfling installed, wood wet wet with naptha...wood is form " A TREE" laughing6-hehe figured sapele..

Very pretty. Not being knowledgeable concerning CNC I really don't know what your talking about. Very nice work though.
