A very nice guitar. I also like the head stock. The walnut and the redwood top you have look good together as well. Well worth showing off!

That's beautiful, Wes. Let me ask you: Did you find the redwood difficult to handle? I am working on my second redwood/walnut mandolin. I love the combination and the sound is excellent. But this particular piece of redwood has seemed freakishly difficult to work throughout the process. As said, I love the finished result, but I doubt I'll ever put myself through this anxiety again. That said, I think your instrument is an excellent outcome.

Thanks Patrick!!!!! It does have a nice sound it's like cedar but with a brighter mid and treble sound.
I have no problem with the redwood though it did seem a bit more britle than ceder or spruce I notice this from the drop when cutting the shape so I was real careful during the build but it was easy for a flattop build. I have some big planks of it and resaw was a breeze. I'm sure carving an arched top would prove more chalanging. Ill be using it again for sure love the look and the sound.

The larger photos help to admire your work. I like it very much. The mother-or-pearl looks great against the darker redwood top. Very nicely done...
