I've got #61, a Brazilian/Adi dred coming back from finish soon. I have not made the bridge yet. I don't build a ton of Dreds but have used Ebony on all thinking a little more damping may not be the worst thing for that body size. A recent BZ/Adi model with an Ebony bridge was a great guitar. Other than that I have become a huge fan of Brazilian bridges for my OM's, 000's, and Size 2's.

Anyone have any thoughts about Rosewood bridges on Rosewood dreds? ( The Johns perhaps?)

I have my doubts about whether damping is an important factor in choosing the wood for a bridge. OTOH, mass is definitely important, and the lower mass of rosewood is a good thing....for the most part. When I compare the two, the rosewood tends to be louder, brighter, and 'snappier'. I can think of no reason not to do it on a rosewood dread, since they tend to favor bass frequencies.
