Yes very nice Ron .. however, did you notice that your upper fret position markers (past 12) are in the wrong place vs the typical placement .. oops ....

LOVE that bear claw. Don't think I've seen anything like that before. Overall look to me is very elegant. Nice nice work.

There sure is plenty to like about that. [:Y:] My fave choice on acoustics is the Venetian cutaway leave the Florentine for lecky guits and stunning claw as well.

Yes, Ron, all this praise seems mighty well deserved. Of all these pictures, I think the one that really speaks to me is the back view of the neck heel. I love the way you trimmed out the back, center strip choice, etc. But the whole thing is quite beautiful and I'm sure your customer is delighted. Regarding the position markers, I agree with you. Sure, you probably wish you hadn't done that, but now it's a design feature. When carving and planing the back of my arch top several years ago, I exposed a knot. Couldn't quite carve it all away, but I got close. Now I point it out to people and call it a feature of the guitar. It doesn't bother anyone--least of all me.
Congratulations,
Patrick

Beautiful. I think backstraps, the 510's and bearclaw really dress up a guitar! Hope you'll post future ones too.

Where are you in Canada?

Really beautiful, Ron! That top is amazing and the black bindings look great on the rosewood. May I ask where you got that backstrip?

Probably from A&M Wood in Cambridge, Ontario or from Exotic Woods in Burlington Ontario.
