I purchased a Transducer to mount in an acoustic guitar . It has brass plate that I assume gets glued in . Problem is there are no instructions with what I bought . Location I would assume matters . How its mounted I assume matters . Suggestions ? Experience ? Ideas ? ![]() This is Pic of one I bought 3/4" dia. Attachment: 000_0098.jpg

What sort of transducer? Is it a under saddle transducer? Or it sounds more like a soundboard transducer. From what I've read, cuz I've never used a soundboard transducer you want it about an inch or so behind the bridge, slightly to the bass side of the guitar. |

I have used these It is simple you have a 2 pad so place them under the top on the place located under the saddle. you can use med CA Here is a video on a 3 pad install . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KE7VkcTAJoQ your target would be in front of #2 and #4 strings positioned under the saddle . |

The transducer then goes in front of the pins and directly under the saddle part of the bridge plate. Thanks for the video . |

I put one on my 12 string. I am a K&K dealer and got this off ebay and was surprised. It sounds just fine . |
