Anybody know if it's 4" or 4 1/8"?

If you mean a Martin 12 fret Dreadnought
it's 4".

It's specifically a slope dread. I have a tracing I took from a 1973 12 string, but I didn't note the soundhole size. My rough hewn cardboard soundhole cutout isn't precise enough to trust. I could see how being a dread, the standard 4" would apply, but I could also see how with the extra air volume that a 4 1/8" SH could help avoid some boominess...

I'll try the first one at 4" and modify if needed....

I'm going for the whomp so we'll stick with 4" and see how it goes....

Checking in on an old thread. I'm considering a 12-fret slope D for my first build. How did yours turn out?
