Post subject:  Simple arm bevel tutorial.
I'm planning my first acoustic build. Starting to gather parts, wood, etc. Since I have never built an acoustic my first instinct is to keep things simple. But I have been looking at various builds and have seen arm bevels that look like they may be simple to achieve. I could use one on my personal acoustic due to nerve damage and other issues in my arms, particularly my right arm and hand. I have been building electrics for 6 or 7 years, so I am experienced in that regard, some of which should carry over into acoustic building.
Do any of you know a really good tutorial of a really simple method for incorporating an arm bevel into an acoustic build? Nothing elaborate, just nice and simple and easy to follow.

Stewmac sells Kent Everett's The Transitional Arm Bevel DVD. I put one on my last guitar after watching his DVD. It is a fairly straight forward process. I have good pictures of my project with a bit of a write up on my website. http://www.harvestmoonguitars.com/WRC-Koa%2000.htm.

Kent Everett has a good DVD on his methods of doing an arm rest bevel. I watched it after doing my 1st bevel and picked up several good ideas that saved me quite a bit of time and effort on the next bevels I have done.

I used the O'Brian toot for my first one. I didn't know there was an Everett DVD. That would have been helpful. Robbie's left a few steps to your imagination. It is pretty straight forward. I thin down and laminate hardboard to make the side template. Most old guys, including myself like bevels. They're very comfortable.

Thanks, guys. I'll check the Everett video out. Colin, the O'Brian youtube vid looks like I might be able to execute it from that alone. But Danny makes a point. I can see where the vid skips over stuff. For instance at one point he says the guy glues the piece of wood that will become the bevel fairly proud of the sides, and the next step the box is closed and the top is dead level with the sides in that area, so yeah, a bit missing. But I think I can figure that out.
Any other references anyone's got, particularly ones available free, are most welcome.
