Anyone have any good resources? I have been searching the web and found a few sets but not what I am looking for. I can resaw If I have to but would rather not.

Thanks!

You might check with Bob Gleason at Pegasus guitars or with Notable Woods.

Haven't dealt with Pagasus, but was more than happy with Notable Woods. Great guy and will pick out nice sets for you if you tell him what you want.

No experience with his Koa but I buy almost all my walnut from Notable Woods. If I were looking for Koa, that's where I'd start.

Thanks for the suggestions. I guess it's been awhile since I bought Koa. The prices are pretty proud these days.

I just received some Koa I bought from Notable Woods. Very nice for not a lot of money. They get my vote!

Another vote for Notable. Bruce selected pieces big enough for two Weissenborns and I felt that the price was very reasonable

This came from LMI and was moderately expensive

I have 2 or 3 sets like this and would be willing to sell one. These were bought from Volcano several years ago and am pretty sure they are all from the same billet. Know the pictures aren't the best but if you haven't found something you like better send me a pm. Think I can sell one fairly reasonable compared to what I see out there.

Thanks for all of the suggestions everyone!
I ended up with a beautiful set from Tim L. Very uniform curl and nice color! Well worth the price!
