I'm getting ready to sell some of my wood stash and I've got everything ID'ed except this b&s set. I probably bought it from someone on the OLF in the last couple of years.

Looks like Australian Blackwood to me. |

Looks like junk Dan, better send it to me  It looks seems to be an acacia, thinking Australian blackwood or possibly Koa. |

I have a few sets of Myrtle with that figure, color and grain pattern. My first guess would be an acacia though. |

Ah, I thought I recognized that particular chatoyance That's definitely koa, specifically from Todd Rose. I have the other set he was selling along with it, which looks similar but with a wave in the grain. I saved yours' picture too, and it still has those numbers written on it.

Dennis You're right! I did buy it from Todd Rose four years ago. I think that I will keep this set. It's some good stuff. And as  Padma say, its real wood too...
