Nice tops - I bought one for my garage bench last year when they were on sale. Good deal if you can pick them up from the store. |

Steve, the shipping is actually astonishingly reasonable. $20 for the 24x84 to CA. I imagined freight. |

My bench has a lot of character, but it's small and not the most stable. I'm seriously considering one of these. |

James, I chose this one: http://www.woodcraft.com/product/2004875/7501/woodriver-small-front-vise.aspx It's on the small side, but large enough I think, for my needs. No frills, but decent materials and construction. I needed the smaller one because I'll be mounting it on the end of the bench and want it to take up a minimum of space along the bottom of the bench where drawers and shelves will also reside. Pat |
