+1 what Robbie said. Bindings etc very classy but doesn't compete with the natural beauty of the wood. Brent |

Oh yeah! Nice work, Brian. That must be a very good friend. A lot of forethought and care has gone into that one. Well done! |

I've got a couple of sets of quilted maple, and am a guitar or two away from trying it. Your's makes me all the more excited about the prospect. Very nice maple indeed, and I also like your binding scheme. |

The purfling is nice. I have to admit that I looked at it and it reminded me right away of a conversation on foroflamenco where people were discussing a body port that had been tried by a few that consisted of a top with sides resting inside a back with sides, with the inside side components (connected to the top) not reaching the other plate. The dark part of your purfling would have been the opening and the light part the supports that connected the sides and held the structure together. These actually exist. Weird, and weird reaction. ![]() |

Greeting from a fellow BC boy. I spent 10 fun filled years in the Okanagan myself. Looks great Brian! It's pretty nice having that beautiful Maple in our back yards eh. Keep us posted. Cheers, Danny |
