I had 2 guitars ,a Larrivee and a Santa Cruz with stuck saddles over the weekend.I can usually get them un-stuck.Neither would budge even with a little heat .One of the guitars was a bridge re-glue and I still couldn`t get the saddle out after I had heated the bridge with the saddle still in it and pulled the bridge.Even if it had been glued in ,it should have come out.Of course they were both plastic so I had to be a little careful with the heat.Any thoughts?

I've been having the same luck with a Martin D-18V. I'm building a saddle routing jig to get the job done.

I've had some luck grabbing them with a small end nipper and rocking them.

I use my fret puller very carefully at the center and rock them out.

apply cold to the saddle. it will shrink away from the bridge. usually a block of aluminum with a saddle sized slot in it that has been dunked in liquid nitrogen, or alcohol and ice, or stuck in the freezer for an hour or so. wear gloves.

easy-peasy.

Liquid nitrogen seems a little extreame, plus being difficult to source. Dry ice in acetone should get you down to about -100° F.
