I had a jam-up with a Delta drum sander, the motorized board will now not turn on, but the drum sander will. I thought I could turn on the motor without the sander? Its the last from newest generation BTW. It does not seem to want to work. I would like to bypass the 'control box' with a router motor controller (used for heat blanket) and extension chord when I can find a 2 prong one as a first resort. What size chord would I need for this? Its just the little motor that controls the board. Anyone ever have this? Is there a fuse anywhere? |

I know nothing about this unit but look for a reset button somewhere around the switch box or on the motor. Just one possibility. Bob ![]() |

Ok, it looks like that was it, there is a little white dot-button, and it pushes in with a keywrench, its really small. Some people have replaced motors and the whole electronic she-bang on these on other message boards. Its a really innocuous 'button'. You barely notice it. Otherwise I would have bypassed using a router-speed controller I use for the heat blanket. Should have done the same thing, but you need a 2 prong chord that is big enough- if anyone searches this problem. Thanks |

The magnets came loose from the inside of the motor housing on my Delta feed motor. They were loose and "banging around". Epoxied them back in place and works fine. |

I had a jam-up, the board went in sideways and got stuck. |
