Where would you go to find the following (I'm not seeing any from Uncle Bob or Todd @ Allied):

Claro or Bastogne Walnut

Striped Ebony

Macassar Ebony

Tiger Myrtle

I need ≥ 8.25" wide back plates
I need ≥ 33.5" long sides

Oregon Wildwood carries bostogne, but they don't always have it in stock. As would seem to be the case now. You can always call them and see if they have any.

Aaron Hix might have some of the other woods you are looking for. He is a member here. AHix is is username I believe. LMI also seems to carry some of the others, like mac ebony.

Bruce Creps at Notable Tonewoods has excellent Claro Walnut. He's also the man for koa.

Not sure about Macassar. I get mine in board form from Cormark Intl.

+1 for Bruce Creps at notablewoods.com

Great stuff, with pictures, and various price points. A pleasure to deal with.

If you haven't already, it worth actually making a phone call to these places when you can. I know allied lists mac ebony on the website (but they are moving right now).

Paul,

I just sent you a pm
I have everything you are looking for if you are interested.
I'd like to get back to just Brazilian, Koa and Mahogany. Have way more of the others that probably won't get used by me.

Tim, if you need a source for really high grade brazilian, I can help you there. Mahogany as well.

While I don't really view myself as a buyer right now, you never know
If you have anything close to these, I may be willing to explore what is what.

Hey sorry to inform you this way but that last set you posted is not braz rswd. In fact it appears that it is not wood at all but rather cardboard someone has drawn on. I'll PM you my address and you can send it to me. :)

Well Zeke, I don't know. By the time time you strip all the laquer off, separate the plates and straighten the sides, it may not be worth much.
It is older growth Brazilian. One of several sets I bought in '06.
