Hey folks, I'll be manning a corner of a booth of Canadian dobro makers, Rayco, at Merlefest this weekend. I'll be there representing Dream Guitars, and will have eight or so instruments with me, including several pre-war Martins. If anyone is going to this amazing festival, please stop by and say hello -- I'd love to meet some of you fine folks in person! And of course, bring your credit cards... |

Merlefest is great! I use to attend it every year until it became so expensive I had to think about selling my first born. Like many things, success over time, can mask the original purpose. |

If one has not been to Merlefest before, one should go! It's quiet an experience. Lots of performers, many stages, and vendors. But it is expensive especially if you take your wife/etc. |

Hi, Ken, I won't be there, but say Hi to Mark at Rayco when you talk to him. I've known him for some years. Best regards, Lincoln |

Stay dry everyone. The weather forecast is calling for rain through Sunday. |

MerleFest was a blast, as always. I passed #2 around a jam with some talented pickers and heard it up against some really great guitars. What a humbling experience. It showed me how much work I have to do and how much I need to learn. Ken, it was great to meet you and I hope to see you down the road! |
