My wife and I saw Rodrigo y Gabriela last night here in Denver. Great show; those two are amazing. I was especially impressed with Gabriela. Their sound was great too. I remember Rick saying a while back that he was putting in their pickup systems and making guitars for them. Rick, are they playing your guitars yet?

I thought he was building guitars for them too, but he told me he is only doing the pickup systems for them. They are amazing.

We were thinking that their accents were a bit strange. That explains it!

They didn't impress me greatly when I first saw them two years ago but they'll be down here again next month at some festivals so I'll give them another look then and maybe they'll sway me this time.

I think that would be D-Tar by Rick Turner. Seems to me I remember him saying here he had done some PU work for them.

I use to run the Fintry Queen in Kelowna, Blake. UI ski team in the winter. 100 day years, oh ya. That was another life.

Cheers,
Danny
