I was email a link to this European Luthier magazine and have quickly looked through their free issue and will read it in detail later today. It looks to be well done and has a wide variety of articles.

I personally like this post, Fred, as I really enjoy reading anything I can get my hands on.

At the risk of hijacking your thread, what other periodicals or publications are out there that are similar to this one? I know of Guitarmaker put out by ASIA and American Lutherie from GAL. I quite enjoy the Fretboard Journal, as well. What else is out there of interest?

Thanks for the tip Fred!
I signed up and have read through the first issue.
Very well done!
There is a tutorial on guitar photography that is very informative.
I will definitely be a subscriber.

Check out Terence Tan's online guitar magazine, Guitarbench: http://www.guitarbench.com.

My sense is that the magazine is probably going to remain very biased towards electrics? (If it's the one that I have seen an issue of.)

Guitarbench is very nice - I hope an effort is made to keep up the level of classical content.

Thanks for the link Fred. I've downloaded and will put it on my list to read. Looks very informative and covers a LOT of ground from ukes to violins to electrics - nice.
