It has been a few years since I did any building, and it's about time to get back into guitars. I have a nice set of Maccassar that I plan to use for a J-45. What thickness and temperature do you guys like? I was a regular here about 5 years ago, but work kept me from having time to do any building, well I'm retired now and no more long stretches of 12 hour days more time for building, fishing, and music.

Thanks Pat that's just what I needed. I've bent a lot of wood, but this is my first time with Maccassar.

I recently did a set at 075-08 with really no fuss, bent nicer than many rosewoods.
