Two of the members of the group Go Long(!) (from the video I posted a few days ago) have purchased two more of my guitars. Danielle bought an OM with a curly redwood top and Lucas was the one that commissioned the 8 string. Here's a video of them playing their new guitars for the first time. Thanks for the comments. I'd like to add that Shane at High Mountain Tonewood was instrumental (see what I did there?) in sourcing the "odd" bits such as the wide fret board, set of 8 tuning machines, long saddle etc as well as the Lutz top that went into the eight string. Hi Pat Very nice guitars. Beautiful! I have a question on the redwood top. What finish did you use on it and did you use a stain on it? I ask as I am building a J-45 with a redwood top and would like to get the same color on mine that you have on yours, Thanks - Mike |
