Post subject:  string choice for classical

hello.,, all pizza I 'm repairing for old guitar of my friend, not a good quality but that have story for him, the brand is SAKURA , made by Japan but all the board from multiplex (laminated wood) I just change the back with mahogany and refretting also add the preamp and under saddle pickup..
my question is what string (soft, normal, hard tension) and what brand you suggest to fit this old classical guitar... :shock:

Kind of depends on the build. If it's reasonably light, then Normal tension would be best in my opinion. If heavily built, I'd put High tension on it. The D'Addario classical strings are a good standard string. My personal favorites are Oasis Carbon strings.
