Happy New Year!!! Yesterday I made the last modifications to my router tower and it seems to have worked well cutting off the bindings on No. 1, leaving a ncie consistent channel all the way around. Today I started bending the new ebony bindings I bought, and promptly broke the first piece. ![]() And so the adventure continues... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Todd Stock wrote: Happy New Year...and may you never forget to clean off all the fret dust from leveling before touching up pick dings adjacent to the fretboard extension. Ouch! Can we hear an "Amen" from the finish gallery? And Happy New Year to you too, Lance. As was said, thanks for the great forum! Steve |

Thanks, Lance, and Happy New Year back at you! Just to echo comments from other guys, I really appreciate the forum and all your work to keep it going. One question. John Hall said in his New Year's Greeting, "keep the sawdust off the floor." Is that a requirement to be a luthier? If so...a lot of us (including me) are in BIG trouble. This may have been the forum's best year. Lots of good info disseminated and no major fights that I recall. Thanks Lance. |
