On the 7 string, but the Gypsy Jazz is basically selmer style bracing, pretty rigid.

That little ditty around 1:12 in the gypsy jazz video's cool. Got tab/name for that anywhere?

The gypsy jazz guitar sounds like it's got a nice raspy punch to it. Those guitars are almost unique to the style of playing. Did you bend the pliage into the top?

Nice work.

Thanks,
Yes I bent a pliage with my ibex iron just behind the bridge.
9mm high tapering to nothing at the lower bout edge.
I reshot the edge after bending then joined, so this was maintained when glued to the flat rims

Thanks for that , the 7-string sounds deep.
Suffice to say, those are extraordinary builds.
Any chance you could post some photos?

Will do but waiting on a new camera for christmas

He has the seven string tuned with 6th down to D and 7th to A
I have a very small soundhole, got the air resonance down to 87hz
