I am thinking about drilling a hole in the center of my sanding radius dishes, attaching the form and a spindle to the bench and using the spindle to help keep the rims even during sanding. Where should I center the form? The X-brace joint? Center according to length/width? |

This is how I position the radius dish to sand the curve into the rim... |

You can actualy centre it wherever you like .. the centre (or top) of the dome it produces, relative to the top of your neck and tail blocks (which is what you are trying to do, create a dome relative to the top of the blocks, since you will be gluing the top/back to them), will ALWAYs be at the centre point between the two blocks. |
