Really? $100 for 2 bridge blanks? Nuts....

Geeze, I have a few hundred just like that I can no longer use. Since you're in Ontario, I can actually sell you a few if you're interested, Alex. Oh, and for a lot, lot less.... Lemme know!

I think the people paying that kind of dough for Braz bridge blanks have more money than good sense. Last time I got some from that same gent I got a dozen for$5 a piece. I think I got lucky. Mario's are really nice if you need some.

That's ridiculous. They are nice but i can't believe the bidding is that high! Kevin I have a bunch I can get rid of. They don't look as nice as these but would be much much cheaper.

I've got two 5 gallon buckets full of Braz bridge blanks. I don't want to sell any, but at that price??????

I've been wondering, does anyone know why does Darren keeps changing his username on Ebay?

I have often wondered the same thing. As an Ebay seller, raising suspicion is something I try to avoid.

Wow, it looks like it's just wavy grain stump wood. I think people without much knowledge see it and think "wow, it's flame brazilian rosewood, and it must be rare". Silly prices.

I'd rather slice and bookmatch those for headplates.

Exactly. It's pretty, but has way too much runout for me to make a bridge out of it. The bridge acts as a brace. Most luthiers would not even consider using wood like that for an internal brace.

What's with the "Point of No Return, USA" and "Ships Worldwide" statements in the ad???
Last time I checked, it would be easier to ship a nuclear device internationally than Braz rosewood! wow7-eyes

Darren is in Northern Washington state. I believe he crosses the border, and does his Canadian shipping by Canada Post. I've bought from him, and the shipping address is in B.C.
