how many of you are using pinless bridges? any design advise?

I use a pinless bridge. Plus side- you don't have to mess with bridge pins. duh Negative side- you have to destring the guitar completely to do any touchups to the fretboard, saddle, etc.

When designing a pinless bridge, make sure you have enough meat above the strings to hold under tension.

I use a Doolin/Elliot style pinless bridge. Really easy to change strings and looks good to my eye as long as your strings don't have the colored ends. Here's his tutorial: http://www.DoolinGuitars.com/articles/bridgejigs/
