i'm getting ready to start french polishing my first and can't find pumice. the only place i can seem to find any is on ebay and its being sold by the pound. seems like too much at the moment. thanks! |

The woodworking boutiques like Woodcraft, Highland Hardware, Rockler, etc. should have it but I think 1 pound is as little as you can buy. Probably less expensive on Ebay. Kevin Looker |

alex thanks for the tip! i was just about to do a lee valley order i'll add this to my cart. jim, thanks for the offer! i found some up here that will get me through this one. i'd love to come down in a bit though and see what you are up to and get some feedback. thanks! |

I haven't bought pumice in a long while but the last time I did I got it at a Benjamin Moore paint store....Mike |

For EU folks there's direct from Kremer Pigments. Also have fish glue and most other 'old-fashioned' gums, mastics and, well, pigments. |
