Post subject:  where are you getting your pumice?

i'm getting ready to start french polishing my first and can't find pumice. the only place i can seem to find any is on ebay and its being sold by the pound. seems like too much at the moment.

The woodworking boutiques like Woodcraft, Highland Hardware, Rockler, etc. should have it but I think 1 pound is as little as you can buy. Probably less expensive on Ebay.

I haven't bought pumice in a long while but the last time I did I got it at a Benjamin Moore paint store....Mike

For EU folks there's direct from Kremer Pigments. Also have fish glue and most other 'old-fashioned' gums, mastics and, well, pigments.
