So I bought this guitar off ebay for dirt cheap, made in China special. I liked the color and the finish of it and the rosette is pretty cool as well. I want to get this fully operational, I need to make or buy a new nut and saddle for the bridge and install a pickup. This is the first guitar I have ever tinkered with so thats why I bought a cheap one to test the waters. Any suggestions or well wishing is appreciated! The pickup I think they used is this http://www.fishman.com/products/view/presys-1 Overall Pic ![]() Pickup Cutout ![]() Plugin for pickup ![]() Rosette ![]() |

So is there anything wrong with it beside being stripped of all electronics and hardware? I have bought damaged guitars like this on ebay just to repair and then give away to nephews and neices. Usually a music store or vendor will sell brand new guitars that were either damaged in transit or came with some problems like a bad neck set or other. They strip them of all hardware and electronics including the pickup and either auction them separate or keep them for in shop repairs and installations since they are technically new. Is there any cracks in the neck or body? Were any defects mentioned in the auctions?...Mike |

I would like to fill it and fix it but not too sure on the process. I understand the main hole for the pickup but the other hole that is cut kind of different is confusing me. Nick pic ![]() |

Probably one hole for the controls and/or jack plate. Second hole may be for battery box. |
