I use those from Stew Mac. But to me, they seem too wide (the gap). Why don't they make them with a smaller gap? Mike |

I know what your talking about. I think it so they can fit the extra wide jumbo frets that some use for electrics. Someone should sell them in various fret sizes...Mike |

I'm gonna try taping two together to create a smaller slot. Hoping the overlap does not create too much height. IMHO, this is an issue that SM could easily solve. It's a good idea, but as is, very limited. |

Ive found a HELIX ERASING SHIELD from an artists shop to be the right guage (the narrowest slot is the one thats suitable) the only problem is cutting the metal without making a mess.... Mabye a dremel style cutting disc would be the job |
