Post subject: | z-poxy pore fill |
Have been using z-poxy to pore fill. I assume that the z-poxy will shrink some as it cures. I am wondering at what point the shrinkage stops ( assuming that it shrinks at all ). Also notice that the z-poxy doesn't get into some of the really small pores well even though I try to force the epoxy in it still seems like I still end up with small open pores that are really hard to see. I'm thinking of just going ahead and filling these with thin supergule. Can anyone see a problem with that ? I was reading on the forum the other night that some of the guys are starting to pore fill with superglue. Unless someone has run into problems with it I'm thinking of trying it. Thanks for any helpful insights anyone might give |

Epoxies really don't shrink. The process is entirely a chemical one there is no evaporative part of the process, thus no shrinkage. |

what he said , lol , If your sanding back down to much you will create new pockets . As for the superglue , ive used it in small areas and had no problem ...........yet |
