I have a very nice bubinga billet I picked up from exotic woods in Toronto a few years ago that I am just about to slice up. Exotic woods told me this is from the same log Serge De Jonge built this guitar with- http://www.12fret.com/new/de_Jonge_Serg ... od_pg.html These sets will be far too nice for me to build with, so I am going to sell them. Trouble is I cant find anything like this on the net and I have no clue what to ask for them... any ideas? Will be posted in classifieds soon! Any discoloration is due to the naptha drying, color is even. ![]() |

Ed: Fifty a set would be a good price..................................for the buyer!!!! I'll take all you have. ![]() A few years back I purchased some from Shane at 250 a set. I would think you would have buyers at that price. Tom |

Bubinga is fairly cheap and relatively common, and pommele Bubinga is also a fairly common figure. I'd say $125 a set. |

I said it was comparable to the picture not that I wanted to get 400 a set. I have 20+ various sets I am going to sell all below retail bud. |

Well, the question is what can you get for it? If they were truly comparable, you could get $400 for it. However, place them side by side at $400, and it quickly becomes obvious. I'm just trying to give you an honest straightforward answer. If you could get $400, I think you should. I would. |

Beautifull sets , I would love to have a set . I simply cant afford that kinda price . I hope you get what you are looking for . Any opinion I would have is an uneducated guess , but I would think $250.00 is reasonable . |
