I have an interest in building a 12 string guitar and a nylon cross over guitar (steel string feel with nylon strings), anybody have any experience/thoughts on a good set of plans? I'd like the 12 string to be smaller than a jumbo and I'm not a dreadnought fan. Your input is greatly appreciated, thanks. |

My favorite shape is the Michael Payne medium jumbo. Plans are available from Stew-Mac. This instrument sits well in your lap (comfortable) and would be a perfect cnadidate for conversion to a twelve string. Pictures on my website... Mikey |
