Post subject:  Had to move yet another thread that got out of hand.
PLEASE keep on topic, and stay with in the very few and simple rules.

The images pointed out to me today were so out of hand and wrong.
This is not the place for that kind of stuff.

There is. I move them to an unpublished forum.
i was telling Tony in a PM, I dont have time to sift through every single post so when a thread devolves I really have to move quick, especially if there is something offensive posted, so I just "move" the thread.
Sorry if that bum's some of you out. Just trying to keep it on topic and clean.

Lance - in the case of this particular deleted thread, if I understand correctly it was just one or two posts that were, um, distasteful. Any chance those particular posts can be removed and the thread revived, contingent of course upon Tony promising to behave? :mrgreen:

Yes, but doing so requires that I use lots of profanity which will surely be an issue. Since I don't actually speak with a Brooklyn accent, I don't generally type with one.

This site has a sort of "social anarchist" attitude to it. By that, I mean it's highly unlikely to be happy with ANYONE (except Lance) as the mod. It's been tried. And failed. Guess the real point is that 99.9% of the time it all works out fairly well.

Trust me. You don't want to be a mod.

I read through this thread this morning,
and I KNEW this would happen!
Coffee does have something to do with guitar repair.
One can use a cappucino milk steamer to inject steam into the neck joint to remove the neck.
I still say 1/2 and 1/2 is better in coffee.

I would have to say that the program works quite well like it is , adding a mod will only create additional discord at some point . The simple fact is we are all mods on here and try and moderate ourselves . I have removed a post 1 time because someone decided to be the groups moral conscience , being quite rude to me at the same time . This idea will ONLY create discord !

With all due respect to Lance and everyone else , lets leave the situation as is and moderate ourselves . Let Lance decide what is and is not appropriate on HIS site.
