Post subject:  Update on High Mountain and Lutz

Hi everyone. I apologize for being so scarce of late. I have been going a hundred miles an hour but only seem to travel backwards! We have had some family health issues that have spilled over to things like my wife loosing her driving privileges and being off work for few months so we have had (and continue) to fight bureaucracies to keep her going so she can continue to work and keep our family mobile. She is back on the road but with punitive restrictions, so we have another battle yet. I have purchased new logs which I expect good things from but I can't start processing until near the end of July. I had hoped to start in May but the day job and the family issues have kept me out of the resaw shed. I wish I had better news but this is really all I can report. So, I am still in business, I still have a good inventory of logs (coloured cedar and Lutz Spruce) but am WAY behind and don't expect full concentration back on the tonewood until late summer early fall. I will be doing my best to get orders out the door just as soon as I start processing.

Thanks to all who have phoned and e-mailed just to check in, we are alright, all things considered! Again I apologize for the delays in getting to the wood and just hope that once I get back at it the quality will justify the wait.

Thanks
Shane

Hi Shane,Hope you get on top of things and the family situation improves.
I tried to buy from you last year but gave up when communication ground to a halt.
Will you let us know here when you have stock and are ready to take orders?

Great to hear things have lifted a little for you Shane. [:Y:]

Could you please put 6 of your best from the new logs aside for me when your ready to go mate. Don't really care how long it takes you to get it out the door because your track record speaks for itself and whatever is in the box has always proven to be joyworthy. :D

Cheers

Kim

Good to hear that you are OK and working in the direction of "normalcy". I hope to try some of your Lutz in the not too distant future.

Best of luck,
Max

Best wishes shane .Perhaps you can find a lawyer to take on your battle with the pencil pushers. Is it ICBC or the Motor Vehicle Folks.?

It's the Motor Vehicles folks. And a Lawyer is not far from the mix if a couple of things don't change.

I will indeed let people know when I have inventory on the shelves. Thanks again

Shane,

Sounds like you are living in "interesting times". I hope you and your family get quickly back to "boring times" and everything gets sorted.

Shane when I lived in victoria 40 yrs ago. I lost my drivers licence, and the nice people in provincial suits, put me through the wringer. Did I mention getting stiffed by ICBC. Perhaps getting a friendly letter from a knowledgeable lawyer might solve your problem quickly so that your family routine could get back to normal cheers ernie.

Shane, Sorry to hear about the challenges you are dealing with. Life has a way of changing direction on us without so much as the slightest warning sign. Hold fast and I wish you and your family the best for a speedy return to a less stressful life.

Throwing up a quick update thread (like you have here) is the absolute best way to retain all the great clients that you have worked so hard to get in the first place. Don't be afraid to do that every few weeks and you'll be amazed at the positive energy that can come your way. God bless you Man!

Hello Shane,
Im sure things will work out for you. I have no problem waiting for the order that I placed with you already. You know what Im looking for in the tops from our conversation a few weeks back. Just let me know when you get back to cutting and I will send another copy of my order if you need it. Thanks. Your tops and bracewood are worth waiting for so no worries.
