Why not bevel the edge of the fret slot before binding? Great tip on making sure to immediately discard the nipped off fret tangs. I've scratched a finish more than once leaving those darn things around ![]() Also curious as to flooding with CA. Is the pipette accurate enough to not make a mess of the fret board? Or do you just expect to do a lot of scraping? |

Or do you just expect to do a lot of scraping? I supposed you could bevel the slot before fretting. However, my method calls for leveling and radiusing the fretboard after it is attached to the neck. You would need to bevel the slots again. The pipette and CA glue method is not messy if done properly. |
