The screws would make centering adjustable, there could be some kind of gripper stuff in there also. Think this might "work"? I have a ruler with a center hole, so its just a matter of evening it out I would think. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/44 ... 027wo.jpg/ |

Maybe I am missing something but I don't see how that will plot the bridge location all by itself. You will still need to have line established that is square to the center-line at the correct location for the bridge to start with, otherwise who knows what angle you may wind up with. And if you already have that line then just run a straightedge down each side of the fretboard and mark it on that line, measure the distance between the two marks you just made, subtract that from the width of the bridge and divide by two. Now mark that measurement out from the two previous marks and that's where the bridge needs to go. |
